US President Donald Trump has warned Iran to “immediately stop” its “highly paid proxies in Lebanon from causing trouble.
In a Truth Social post, Trump warned that “If they [Hezbollah] don’t” stop causing trouble, “we’ll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!!”
Hezbollah and Israel continue to exchange fire in southern Lebanon.
Trump’s warning comes as the US and Iran started peace talks in Burgenstock, Switzerland on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
