An ex-Member of Parliament for Ghana’s Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has allegedly been shot by one of her brothers.
Local media reports in Ghana on Sunday said the shooting incident occurred at the residence of her little brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo.
Reports say she was shot amid tensions linked to an ongoing leadership succession dispute within her later father’s Kristo Asafo movement. Their father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo passed away a few months ago.

According to reports, some armed individuals fired gunshots during a gathering allegedly organized in support of efforts to install Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena as successor to the late Apostle Safo.
Reports say at least 15 rounds of ammunition were fired during the incident.
According to reports, Adwoa Safo was taken to hospital for medical attention after one of the bullets allegedly hit her neck.
