France coach, Didier Deschamps, has disclosed that Kylian Mbappe’s nose may have broken during France’s Euro 2024 match against Austria on Monday night, June 17, 2024.
The French captain who played a crucial role in the only goal of the game, crossing for Maximilian Wober to score an own-goal, collided with Kevin Danso, leading to his nose injury.
Mbappe was seen on lying on the Duesseldorf Arena field with a bloody nose.
Speaking to TF1 in a post-match interview, Deschamps says Mbappe probably suffered a broken nose.
According to him, “A broken nose? Apparently yes. His nose is not right at all. We’ll see. Obviously, it’s tonight’s negative. It’s only a nose, but it’s very bothering for us.”
