At least two persons have died in a building collapse tragedy at Avenor, a suburb of Accra.
Rescue teams from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) retrieved the two dead bodies from under the rubbles of the building which collapsed on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
Two other victims were rescued and rushed to the Ridge Hospital for treatment.
The collapsed building housed both residential and commercial occupants.
