Lil Nas X is facing four felony charges following an incident last week on Ventura Boulevard where he was reportedly found nude and allegedly injured police officers. He has entered a plea of not guilty to the charges.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the artist, whose legal name is Montero Lamar Hill, allegedly charged at officers who approached him in the early hours of last Thursday. The officers had responded to reports of a nude man in the area.
An NBC News source within law enforcement stated that Hill struck an officer twice in the face, and that it remains uncertain whether he was suffering from mental distress or an overdose. At the time, Hill was transported to a hospital and arrested for battery on a police officer. Court documents filed on Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court indicate that Hill is now charged with three counts of battery on a police officer and one count of resisting arrest.
