Mohbad and Wunmi with their ‘disputed son’ Liam

It has emerged that Wunmi, the former girlfriend of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, got pregnant from doing hookup with a Nigerian ‘monarch’ and was allegedly advised by veteran Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, to abort the pregnancy but she refused claiming her baby was carrying a “royal blood.” She then allegedly went on to tell Mohbad that the pregnancy was for him even though she reportedly knew it wasn’t his.
The monarch in question is alleged to be the Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, Oba Alayeluwa Saheed Ademola Elegushi.
Nigerian journalist, Dr. Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo, made the allegations in a post on her Facebook page on Sunday morning, August 17, 2025.
Dr. Kemi wrote: “When Wunmi confessed to Iyabo that she was pregnant off a hookup, Iyabo told her to terminate it. Because “my child has royal blood” she refused and proceeded to tell Mohbad she was pregnant for him”.
Davido’s Boys
Dr. Kemi had in an earlier post dropped explosive allegations linking the Marlian ex-signee’s death to a ritual killing allegedly involving two of Davido’s boys, Mohbad’s babymama, Omowunmi Aloba, also known as Wunmi Aloba, and other individuals including actress Iyabo.
In a no-holds-barred Facebook post, Dr. Kemi alleged that Dre DMW, Davido’s close associate, secretly paid ₦2 million to buy Mohbad’s shaved hair and blood from Darosha — even before Mohbad’s father could take possession of them. She described the act as a “cult deal” masterminded for ritual purposes.
In a post sighted by Africa Publicity on her Facebook page, Dr. Kemi alleged Mohbad’s wife was a “willing participant” in the plot, while Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo allegedly looked the other way despite knowing what was going on.
“Mohbad already said in audios and videos that they wanted to kill him,” she claimed, insisting the death was “100% premeditated.”
Dr. Kemi further dragged Davido into the mix, branding him a “Black Axe cultist,” alleging he used Dre as a middleman to secure Mohbad’s blood and hair for rituals, before rushing down to attend a “fake vigil” to paint himself innocent.
She also pointed fingers at Aloma, another Davido aide, accusing him of covering up the controversial death of Tagbo Umeike in 2017.
The outspoken journalist went further, slamming fellow artistes like Bella Shmurda, whom she accused of feeding Mohbad with crystal meth, worsening his struggles before death.
Calling on police to “arrest Darosha, Dre, and Aloma,” Dr. Kemi said the case was riddled with cover-ups, from bloodied syringes collected by police to mysterious deaths of officers linked to the investigation.
Dr. Kemi, who vowed to expose more in her forthcoming book and documentary tagged #IjmohbadReview, insisted that the case had been swept under the carpet because of cult influence in the music industry.
