Tosin Adarabioyo Stars with Brace as Chelsea Cruise Past Morecambe in FA Cup

Defender Tosin Adarabioyo delivered a sensational performance, scoring twice from outside the box, as Chelsea secured a comfortable 5-0 victory over League Two side Morecambe in the third round of the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge.

Morecambe’s Harry Burgoyne made several crucial saves in the first half, including denying Christopher Nkunku’s early penalty after Yann Songo’o was penalised for a handball. However, Chelsea eventually broke the deadlock in fortunate circumstances when Adarabioyo’s shot from the edge of the box deflected off midfielder Callum Jones and into the net in the 39th minute.

The Blues doubled their lead right after the restart, with Nkunku scoring on the rebound after Burgoyne’s initial save from Renato Veiga. Adarabioyo then added his second in the 70th minute with a stunning curling effort from 25 yards, sealing his brace and Chelsea’s third goal.

Joao Felix provided a clinical finish for Chelsea’s fourth with a side-footed effort from the edge of the area, and then delivered a fine curling strike from a tight angle for his second goal late in the match, capping off a resounding victory for the Premier League giants.

Morecambe struggled to cope with Chelsea’s dominance throughout the match, as the hosts cruised into the fourth round of the FA Cup with ease.
