Instrumentally, the piece radiates joy with a vibrant Afro-contemporary gospel sound, featuring live drums, bass, electric guitar, keys, and choral layering. “We wanted it to feel joyful and full,” Perez explained. A significant contributor to that fullness was the University of Ghana Mass Choir, who brought unmatched vocal power and synergy to the performance.

From Perez’s gold and black suit to the choir’s coordinated outfits—males in all black and females in gold and black—the styling amplified the spirit of unity and celebration. Perez credits Meg Morrison for the costume design and praised the behind-the-scenes team for their eye-catching execution.
