Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh paying homage to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II

The King of the Asante Kingdom in Ghana, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has urged Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate to Ghana’s Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the December 7, 2024 Presidential elections to serve with humility.
The Asantehene made the appeal in his speech during the unveiling of Dr. Opoku Prempeh at the Jubilee Park at Manyhia in Kumasi.
Addressing a brief ceremony at Manhyia for the introduction of Dr. Opoku Prempeh to him, Asantehene urged Dr. Opoku Prempeh not to make Dr. Bawumia regret choosing him (Opoku Prempeh) as his running mate.
He urged “I have watched Opoku Prempeh grow. Don’t let Dr Bawumia regret choosing you. Serve with humility.”
Meanwhile, Otumfuo also urged the Vice President never to hesitate to knock on his door whenever the outgoing Energy Minister goes wrong.
“Whatever mistake comes let me know so I correct him,” Otumfuo said.
