Hip-hop fans, rejoice! The long-awaited Nas and DJ Premier album appears to be finally happening.
For years, rap enthusiasts have speculated about a full-length Nas and DJ Premier project, and now it looks like it’s becoming a reality. In a birthday message to DJ Premier, Nas subtly confirmed that studio sessions are already scheduled.
Sharing a glimpse of his iCal, the rap legend revealed that he has studio sessions lined up with Premier throughout March and April.
“My brother @djpremier, happy birthday. Let’s go!” Nas wrote, fueling excitement among fans.
The duo’s chemistry is already legendary, with classic collaborations like “NY State of Mind,” “Nas Is Like,” and “Memory Lane”, but a full album has been a dream for hip-hop purists for decades.
With this latest update, it seems like 2025 could finally be the year we get the Nas and DJ Premier project the culture has been waiting for.
