Member of Parliament for Ghana’s Tano North Constituency, Dr Gideon Boako, has announced the opening of applications for the 2026 edition of the Gboako Scholarship, an initiative aimed at supporting tertiary students in the constituency.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, November 1, Dr Boako said the scholarship programme was designed to support students pursuing tertiary education while easing the financial burden on their parents and guardians.
He disclosed that 127 students benefited from the maiden edition of the scholarship last year, adding that he hoped to extend the support to more students this year.
Applications officially opened on November 1, with eligible tertiary students from Tano North encouraged to apply through the scholarship portal at www.gboakoscholars.com.
