Uganda’s chief of Defense Forces, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has declared his support for Israel in the US-Israel war with Iran, saying Uganda is on the side of Israel.
He made Uganda’s position known in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
General Muhoozi, who is the son of Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni, wrote: “Israel has a right to exist and attacks against her must stop.”
He added “We want the war in the Middle East to end now. The world is tired of it?”
He says any talk of destroying or defeating Israel will bring Uganda into the war, concluding that Uganda is “On the side of Israel!”
