A small aircraft operated by Mombasa Air Safari has crashed in Kenya’s coastal region, claiming the lives of 11 people, including foreign tourists from Hungary and Germany.
According to a statement from the airline, the plane was carrying 10 passengers—eight Hungarians and two Germans—along with a Kenyan pilot. The company confirmed that no one survived the crash.

Kenya’s Civil Aviation Authority reported that the accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. local time (5:30 GMT) in Kwale County, near the Indian Ocean coast. The aircraft was en route from Diani Beach to Kichwa Tembo, a popular safari destination in the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Authorities and rescue teams have since reached the site, with local media reporting that the bodies were badly burned in the wreckage. Police have confirmed that all passengers were tourists, and investigations into the cause of the crash are currently underway.
