San Antonio Police are appealing to the public for information related to the brutal murder of Regina Meyer Martinez, a 47-year-old woman found dead in a wooded area in February 2024.
According to San Antonio Crime Stoppers, police officers were called to the corner of Babcock Road and Medical Drive around 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024, following a report of a sudden death.
Homicide Investigation
Upon arrival, officers located the victim’s body behind apartments in a wooded area along Snowden Road, near a homeless encampment. Investigators later determined the death was a homicide, as Martinez was found with multiple apparent stab wounds.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on her murder to contact Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867 or submit a tip online.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to a felony arrest in connection with the murder.
