US President, Donald Trump, has confirmed that the US military has bombed three nuclear sites in Iran amid an escalating crisis in the Middle East.

President Trump in an address delivered from the White House on Saturday evening, June 21, 2025, described the US military strikes on the three nuclear sites as a “spectacular military success”, announcing that the sites were “completely and totally obliterated”.

The American President warned Iran that the US military could go after additional sites if Iran does not make peace.

Bombs used

American B-2 bombers were reportedly used in the strikes on Iran.

According to reports, the US military also used a 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bomb, with reports saying it’s the first known instance of the bomb being used operationally.

The US military bombed the Iranian facilities as the conflict between Iran and Israel escalated. Iran and Israel have been striking missiles into each other terrorist for over six days, killing civilians and causing severe damages to properties.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social in addition to the White House address, President Trump disclosed that the strikes targeted Iran’s nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

He said the site were considered critical to Iran’s uranium enrichment and nuclear development programs.

According to Trump, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”

Condemnation

The United Nations has condemned the US strikes, calling it a dangerous escalation.

The UN Secretary General António Guterres says there is now a “growing risk that this conflict could rapidly get out of control – with catastrophic consequences for civilians, the region, and the world”.

He tweeted on X: “At this perilous hour, it is critical to avoid a spiral of chaos. There is no military solution. The only path forward is diplomacy. The only hope is peace.”

Also, the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI) has condemned America’s “savage assault” on the Iranian nuclear sites.

AEOI has also criticised the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for being “indifferent and even complicit”, calling on the global community to “condemn the attacks and support Iran’s rightful position”.

According to AEOI, “despite the malicious plans of the enemies”, scientists and experts will “keep the country’s nuclear industry moving forward”, saying it will be taking “necessary” steps which will include “legal actions” following the attacks.

Trump Warns Of More Strikes

But despite the condemnations on the US strikes, President Trump has warned there will be more strikes if Iran delay the peace process.

He says “There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater that we have witnessed over the last eight days,” adding that “Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight was the most difficult of them all by far, and perhaps the most lethal.”

According to him, “But if peace doesn’t come quickly we will go to those other targets with precision, speed and skill.”
