A historically black university in Washington DC, Howard University, has told disgraced music mogul, Diddy, that he’s no longer worthy of its honorary doctorate degree awarded him in 2014. Diddy is being investigated after several women accused him of rape and/or sexual abuse as well as physical violence.
The decision was in reaction to his physical abuse of his former girlfriend Cassie in a hotel room as captured by a recent CCTV footage published by CNN.
In the footage, Diddy was seen in a white tower around his waste kicking Cassie and pulling her to the floor as she tries to enter an elevator inside the Intercontinental Hotel.
In a statement reacting to the disgusting video, the Board of Howard University said Diddy’s “behavior as captured in a recently released video is so fundamentally incompatible with Howard University’s core values and beliefs that he is deemed no longer worthy to hold the institution’s highest honor”.
