World Cup 2026: African Champions Ivory Coast Arrive In Malawi To Play Kenya

The reigning Champions of Africa, Ivory Coast, have arrived in Malawi where they are scheduled to play the Harambee Stars of Kenya.

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, the Ivorian football team landed in Lilongwe, after departing Abidjan early in the morning for the six hours flight. They checked in at the President Hotel in Lilongwe.

Ivory Coast will play away to Kenya at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on Tuesday, June 11.

Currently, Ivory Coast are top of Group F of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, having secured 12 points from their four matches in the group which contains Gabon as well.
