Valedictorian Honoured with Prestigious Hollard Prize at UniMAC-IJ Congregation

Hollard Ghana, the nation’s preferred insurance provider, has celebrated academic excellence by awarding Carlene Abena Ameyaa Affram, the valedictorian of the University of Media, Arts and Communication-IJ (UniMAC-IJ), with the distinguished Hollard Prize during the university’s 3rd Congregation in Accra.

 

The award recognised Carlene’s exceptional academic performance and her unwavering commitment to excellence in Public Relations, her field of study. She received a brand-new laptop, a cash prize, and a citation from Hollard Ghana.

 

The Hollard Prize forms part of Hollard X Academia, a groundbreaking initiative designed to reward students who excel academically while embodying a spirit of personal growth and entrepreneurial thinking. Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Hollard Ghana, applauded Carlene’s achievements, stating, “At Hollard, we are passionate about nurturing potential and celebrating excellence. Carlene’s hard work and determination align with the values we hold dear. We believe this recognition will fuel her to make a meaningful impact in her community and industry.”

 

Carlene’s remarkable journey at UniMAC-IJ has been defined by her dedication to academic success, making her a standout student in the university’s history.

 

Since its inception in 2021, Hollard X Academia has transformed lives across institutions such as the University of Ghana Business School, the University of Cape Coast, and the University of Energy and Natural Resources through initiatives like Streetwise Finance, mentorship programs, and resource-sharing.
