US President Donald Trump criticized German Chancellor Friedrich Merz over his claims that Iran and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were “humiliating an entire nation (USA).”
Trump says the German Chancellor “thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon”.
According to Trump, “He doesn’t know what he’s talking about!”
Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social that “If Iran had a Nuclear Weapon, the whole World would be held hostage.”
President Trump stressed that “I am doing something with Iran, right now, that other Nations, or Presidents, should have done long ago.”
He then linked his criticism to Germany’s broader situation, saying “No wonder Germany is doing so poorly, both Economically, and otherwise!”
Merz had noted on Monday the the US was being “humiliated” by Iran.
