A 35-year-old Indian man, Banothu Naresh, said to be a porn-addicted father, has allegedly killed his 12-year-old daughter who resisted his attempts to have sex with her.
Police arrested him on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in Telangana, India after the gruesome murder of his daughter named Vasantha.
The suspect, according to local media reports, is a resident of Nadigadda Thanda in Miyapur locality on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
Reports say after killing his daughter, he tried to mislead the police by lodging a false complaint that his daughter went missing on June 7, 2024.
However, a body of a little girl was discovered in a forest area, and the police then reportedly summoned Naresh and his wife.
The suspect and his wife identified the body to be that of his daughter and it was sent to the Gandhi’s Hospital mortuary on June 14. Subsequently, the Vasantha’s body was handed over to her family for last burial rites.
