Nigerian rapper and street-pop sensation Odumodublvck has finally broken his silence on his highly publicized feud with fellow rapper Blaqbonez, clarifying that the dispute goes beyond music and is rooted in a deeply personal matter of loyalty and protection.
In a lengthy statement shared via X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, November 3, 2025, the Declan Rice crooner stated that his actions were motivated by loyalty and protection rather than competition. The post, captioned “TO MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, FANS AND TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN – INDUSTRY MACHINE,” offered a detailed explanation of his side of the story.
The Personal Conflict
According to Odumodublvck, the feud began after someone close to him endured over a year of targeted online harassment and personal attacks. He claimed he initially tried to resolve the matter privately by reaching out to several industry figures, including label executives and senior colleagues, but received no support.
“When it became clear that no one would protect her, I felt compelled to step in,” he wrote. “These actions were not driven by ego or pride, but by anger, frustration, and the need to defend someone I care about who had been tormented for far too long while everyone looked away.”
Rejecting the ‘Rap Beef’ Label
The rapper firmly rejected the narrative that his ongoing clash with Blaqbonez is simply a “rap beef,” describing such labeling as an attempt to trivialize a serious situation.
“This issue has now been twisted to look like a rap beef, a move to service someone’s career,” he wrote. “Reducing a person’s pain to entertainment is not only insensitive but deeply disrespectful.”
Odumodublvck ended his message by stressing his commitment to honesty and accountability while making it clear that he does not intend to revisit the matter. His latest statement suggests that the rift may have been driven more by emotional loyalty than artistic rivalry, adding a profound personal dimension to the controversy.
