Nigeria: Ekiti LGA Vice-Chairperson Grace Ogunleye Remanded For Alleged Self-Kidnapping

The Vice-chairperson of the Ilejemeje Local Government Area (LGA) of Nigeria’s Ekiti State, Grace Ogunleye, has been remanded at the Ado-Ekiti Correctional Centre for allegedly kidnapping herself.

She was arraigned before the court on Wednesday on charges bordering on conspiracy and self-kidnapping.

Ogunleye was arraigned alongside three others before a chief magistrate’s court in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
