Afrobeats sensation Magixx is set to take center stage on this week’s episode of Africa Now Radio with Nandi Madida, airing on Friday, March 7th on Apple Music 1. As Apple Music’s latest Africa Rising featured artist, Magixx will discuss his much-anticipated debut album, I Dream In Color, and his latest single, “Alchl”.
In an exclusive FaceTime interview with Nandi Madida, Magixx shares how music has always been his true calling, saying, “I’ve never really known any other thing that I wanted to do outside making music. I’m so happy that things worked out the way they did.”
The Nigerian star also opens up about his inspirations, citing legends like Michael Jackson, Fela Kuti, Lagbaja, Drake, Lil’ Wayne, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy as major influences on his versatile sound. He emphasizes his ambition to leave a lasting impact, stating, “I dream big. I want stadiums; I want the big collaborations. I want to be everywhere.”
