According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry on Wednesday, Israel “pursued” Khalil by “targeting” the house where she took shelter after an Israeli attack.
Reports say Khalil was buried under rubble after the Israeli strike that also injured another journalist named Zeinab Faraj.
According to reports, the initial Israeli strike hit a vehicle in front of the two journalists.
