Africa Magic, in collaboration with MultiChoice, has announced the call for entries for the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), celebrating excellence in African film, television, and entertainment. Filmmakers can submit their works from now until January 31, 2025.
The AMVCAs highlight outstanding talent, creativity, and innovation, shining a spotlight on the continent’s best storytellers, performers, and production professionals. Eligible submissions include films, made-for-television movies, or TV series broadcast or publicly screened between December 1, 2023, and December 31, 2024.
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels for West Africa, MultiChoice, emphasized the awards’ significance:
