The 2025 BET Awards have officially announced their list of nominees, and Nigerian sensation Ayra Starr is making history as the most nominated African act. The ceremony will take place on June 9, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.
Kendrick Lamar tops the list with an impressive 10 nominations, thanks to his latest album “GNX” and the viral success of his Drake diss track “Not Like Us”. Close behind are Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla, each with six nominations. Metro Boomin, SZA, and The Weeknd also received multiple nods.
