Portuguese football manager, Jose Mourinho, has been appointed the new head coach of Turkish Superlig side, FC Fenerbahce.
His contract with Fenerbahce will run until June 2026.
Mourinho who is fondly described as ‘The Special One’ joins the Turkish club after being sacked by AS Roman a few months ago.
Mourinho is succeeding Ismail Kartal at the helm of the Turkish club, marking an unexpected twist in his illustrious coaching career.
Prior to joining Fenerbahce, he had been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.
Mourinho has an impressive CV, having coached a number of top European clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Real Madrid and FC Porto.
