Actor and comedian Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lil Win, has confidently predicted a win for Ghana ahead of the Black Stars’ crucial World Cup group match against Croatia on Saturday, June 27, even jokingly going as far as saying he will divorce his wife if Ghana doesn’t win.
In an interview with journalists in Boston after Ghana’s encouraging goalless draw with England on Tuesday, June 23, the Kumawood actor says he is fully convinced the Black Stars will take all three points in their final Group L fixture.
Lil Win said Ghana would not just win, but do so in emphatic fashion.
“If Ghana doesn’t score Croatia, I’ll divorce my wife, I’m telling you,” he said amid laughter from fans around him.
He further predicted a dominant performance and a 3-0 scoreline for the Black Stars in the upcoming clash.
“It’s going to be 3-0 against Croatia.” When some fans warned that bettors might rely on his bold prediction and later blame him if the result goes differently, Lil Win appeared unbothered and maintained his stance.
