Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sharply condemned the reported “barbaric” killing of one of the abducted teachers from the Esiele community in Ogbomoso within the Oyo State of Nigeria, vowing to take serious action against the abductors.
In a statement released on Monday, May 18, 2026, Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to president Tinubu on information and strategy, disclosed that the teacher was killed when “rescue operation is underway.”
