Ghana and Israel Hold 3rd Political Dialogue in Jerusalem

 

The 3rd Session of Ghana-Israel Political Dialogue was held in Jerusalem on Wednesday, 21st January, 2026.

James Gyakye Quayson (MP), Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs led Ghana’s delegation. The dialogue was co-chaired by Sharren Haskel, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel.

The dialogue provided a high-level platform for both countries to engage on matters of mutual interest, including diplomatic cooperation, trade and investment, security, innovation, agriculture, and capacity-building initiatives.

Discussions underscored the longstanding cordial relations between Ghana and Israel and the shared desire to deepen collaboration for mutual benefit.

The Ghanaian delegation highlighted Ghana’s priorities and opportunities for partnership, while both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress made since the previous political dialogue and agreed to sustain regular consultations.
