A Thai soldier has been killed and eight others injured in a fight between Cambodian and Thai soldiers following a border dispute.
The Royal Thai Army reported the death of the soldier and the injuries of the eight other soldiers.
According to the Royal Thai Army, Cambodian troops attacked Thai soldiers in the Phu Pha Lek Hill of Phlan Hin Paet Kon area of Kantharak District, Si Sa Ket province.
The Thai Army Spokesperson, Major General Winthai Suvaree said the attack on December 7, 2025 prompted evacuation of residents in four northeastern provinces bordering Cambodia.
