Personnel of Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have raided a laboratory allegedly producing colorado, a synthetic strain of cannabis in Lagos.
The laboratory is alleged to be the production of the cannabis in a residential building at Ajao Estate in Isolo area of Lagos.
NDLEA made this known in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
It said the apartment converted into a laboratory by one Stephen Kelechi Imoh, was raided, leading to the seizure of “freshly cooked” colorado and precursor chemicals, and the arrest of Imoh, the 30-year-old owner of the lab.
