DUÜWA—formerly known as Duduboy—is stepping into a new era with the release of his first single under his new identity, “Freaknik.”
The artist, who recently signed to Cokoon, is experiencing a true creative rebirth. Before launching his solo career, DUÜWA was a member of the renowned LOUD Urban Choir, celebrated for their imaginative covers of popular songs. Those early experiences helped shape the soulful, expressive sound he’s now bringing to his own music.
While he previously released “Julie” under emPawa, “Freaknik” marks a fresh chapter. The song is about desire, chemistry, and letting loose—a late-night invitation filled with flirtation, rhythm, and heat. It captures the energy of two people drawn to each other, ready to blur the line between fun and intimacy.
The track is positioned as a perfect, “freaky,” Halloween release and serves as the first single off his upcoming EP, Playing With Fire, which is set to drop on November 21st.
