Harry Kane, the England and Bayern Munich forward, has addressed the persistent rumors about a possible return to Tottenham Hotspur, firmly stating that a move back to his former club is currently “an impossible scenario to imagine.”
Speaking during an interview while on international duty with England, the former Spurs captain confirmed his contentment with life in Germany.
“I am not sure if I’ll go back to Spurs. I’m very happy here in Munich. It’s not something I’m thinking about. It’ll always be ‘we’ (with Spurs) because I spent my whole life there. I’m a fan of them and will always watch them and see how they’re getting on.”
Kane emphasized that Tottenham will always be a part of his life, noting his pleasure at seeing them win a trophy this year and expressing hope that they can “push on and win more.”
Kane’s Spurs Legacy
Kane joined Tottenham’s academy as a youth player and made his senior debut in 2011. He quickly established himself as one of the Premier League’s most prolific strikers, eventually becoming the club’s all-time top scorer with over 280 goals across all competitions, surpassing Jimmy Greaves’ long-standing record.
His individual accolades include winning three Premier League Golden Boots and the 2020–21 Playmaker Award for the most assists. Despite leading Spurs to the 2019 UEFA Champions League final and securing multiple top-four league finishes, Kane famously left the club for Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, primarily due to the lack of major team trophies at Tottenham.
