Ghanaian Afro-fusion artist Endiz is making a significant return with his new project, REDEMPTION, released today in collaboration with Amplify Ghana. The 9-track tape marks his first major release since 2023 and serves as a powerful journey of ambition, resilience, and self-discovery from one of Madina’s most promising musical voices.
Born Dennis Ofori Antwi, Endiz’s upbringing in Madina Zongo Junction immersed him in hip-hop and dancehall. His distinct artistry successfully blends street energy with emotional depth and compelling storytelling. This unique formula initially earned him wide attention with his 2021 project, Tales From Madina, and the breakout hit, Packaging (featuring Kwame Yesu).
About ‘REDEMPTION’
On REDEMPTION, Endiz shifts into a more introspective and focused space. He describes the project’s core message:
“It’s about a young boy from Madina with the dream of making it to the top of the music industry and being relentless despite all the ups and downs.”
The introductory track, Redemption, perfectly captures this spirit, setting a universal tone for personal triumph. The tape showcases Endiz’s lyrical honesty and versatile soundscapes, highlighted by tracks like Do Me Better and Brown Sugar, which balance the project’s grit with themes of romance and vulnerability.
While the project features no other artistes, it boasts a dynamic sonic identity thanks to production credits from a talented lineup including Sleek, Offbeatz, AF Beatz, Console Chronikz, SnoozeSoWavy, Iyke Parker, and Emmarsarf. The project was largely recorded with his longtime engineer, Gosh Mello.
