BBNaija 2025: Fans Demand Sultana’s Disqualification Over Urination Incident

Big Brother Naija Season 10, dubbed “Ten Over Ten,” has been rocked by controversy following allegations that housemate Sultana Auduson urinated in fellow contestant Dede Ashiogwu’s box of clothes after the Saturday night party on August 9, 2025. The incident, reported by housemate Doris during her Sunday diary session with Big Brother, has sparked widespread outrage among fans, many of whom are calling for Sultana’s disqualification from the show.

Doris claimed that Sultana, intoxicated after the party, urinated in Dede’s box, forcing her and others to hand-wash Dede’s clothes overnight. “I had to stay up to launder Dede’s clothes with my bare hands, spread them, and not a single thank you came from Sultana. I’m like, you peed in someone’s box. That is madness,” Doris told Big Brother, as reported by Legit.ng and The Whistler Newspaper. She questioned Sultana’s awareness, stating, “Okay, yes, she was drunk, but she didn’t see her own box to pee in?” Some speculate the act was intentional, tied to tensions over Dede’s closeness to former Head of House Jason Jae, as hinted by posts on X like @abynadubai’s claim that Sultana was “jealous of Dede.”

Sultana, in a conversation with housemate Kulture, admitted to the act but blamed alcohol, saying, “I was drunk and I mistakenly urinated on Dede’s box while looking for the toilet last night. I didn’t know about it until Ibifubara told me this morning,” as per TheCable Lifestyle and GistReel. She claimed she apologized to Dede, though Doris noted no apology was offered initially. A clip shared by @Oligbojuls on X captured Sultana casually discussing the incident, saying, “I was really high now, I wan go piss, I go piss on her box,” prompting further backlash for her lack of remorse.

Fans on X are divided. Some, like @babygyalxxxx, labeled the act “malicious” and a “spiritual attack,” citing provocation and property damage, while @whytesnowy demanded disqualification, arguing, “This is a reality show and we should expect such wickedness, as it is some people’s reality.” Others, like @Themiranda1057 and @delittlebarbie, noted Sultana’s apology and Dede’s acceptance, urging fans to move on, with @EfuaX suggesting Big Brother’s decision not to air the incident indicates it may not warrant disqualification. @Ummastic warned that disqualifying Sultana could shift fan support to other contestants, impacting Dede’s fanbase.

The incident, not captured on live feed, has drawn comparisons to past BBNaija controversies, such as Ike’s tampering with Ilebaye’s belongings in the All-Star season, with fans like those cited by The Whistler arguing it’s “more vile.” Big Brother has yet to address the allegations publicly, but with Head of House Victory tasked with designing punishments for rule-breaking, viewers await potential consequences. The controversy, amplified by Legit.ng, GistReel, and MediaTalkAfrica, underscores the season’s high stakes, with a ₦150 million grand prize at play.
