Fave Announces Debut Album with Potential Burna Boy, Omah Lay, Lola Young, and Baddo Collaborations

Afrobeats singer Fave has revealed plans to release her highly anticipated debut album next year.

Speaking in an interview with Taymesan, Fave said she’s got her eyes set on collaborating with some of the industry’s biggest names.

She expressed enthusiasm about potentially working with Burna Boy, Omah Lay, Lola Young, and Baddo, with whom she has already shared a successful collaboration.

Fave said her desire to collaborate with Burna Boy may be facilitated by their shared label, potentially paving the way for a fruitful partnership.

She added that her approach to collaborations is centered around creating mutually beneficial relationships, where both parties feel inspired to work together.

She said: “I’m really looking forward to putting out my first album next year. So I’m hoping that I can collaborate with Burna Boy. That would be so amazing. Very, very amazing. I’m hoping I can collaborate with Baddo again. We already have a collaboration but I really want to do more songs with him. I’m hoping I can collaborate with Omah Lay.

“I’m hoping I can collaborate with Lola Young. I feel like she’s very fire. Yeah, to be honest, I really, really want to collaborate with lots of people. I’m just trying to work to the point to where I get to a point where they also feel like they should collaborate with me. Because I don’t want a collaboration to feel like someone is doing me like a huge favour.

“I want it to be like very symbiotic. Yeah. So that’s what I’m gunning for. And just before I start, you know, naming names, but because me and Burna Boy are in the same label, that’s why I just put it out there”.
