It is truly a huge victory for Mavin Records signee, Rema, as he has been named the African Artiste Of The Year.
The prestigious award was presented to Rema at the 16th edition of the Headies Awards in Atlanta, USA over the weekend.

Rema, known in private life as Divine Ikubor, also won the Digital Artiste of The Year award.
The ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker was also adjudged the Best Male Artiste Of The Year.
The Headies – Africa’s global award for Afrobeats Music – was held on September 3, 2023 at the Cobb Energy Centre, Atlanta, USA.
The star-studded ceremony will witnessed live performances from some of Africa’s popular Afrobeats singers.
Performing at the ceremony were: Fireboy, KCEE, Asake, Ayra Starr, Rema, Spyro, Victony and Seyi Vibez, among others.
