Cole Palmer has been awarded the English Premier League (EPL) Player of the Month for September 2024.
The EPL disclosed this on its official website on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Cole Palmer, 22, had 6 goal contributions in 4 games, scoring 5 goals and providing one assist in September. He found the back of the net once in Chelsea’s 3-0 win against West Ham United at the London Stadium, and recorded four goals in the Blues’ 4-2 over Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge.
He also teed up Nicolas Jackson for his goal against Crystal Palace, a tie that ended in a goal apiece after 90 minutes of action.
The English international won the award ahead of Liverpool’s duo, Luis Diaz and Dutch international, Ryan Gravenberch.
Others are Ollie Watkins, Arsenal defender, Gabriel Magalhaes, Harvey Barnes, Raul Jimenez and Everton’s Dwight McNeil.
The midfielder was also awarded England Men’s Player of the Year few days ago following his outstanding performances for Enzo Maresca’s side last season.
