The Recording Academy has officially unveiled the timeline for the 69th Annual Grammy Awards, marking the start of the “Grammy Season.” The announcement, made during a presentation in New York on Tuesday, outlines the critical windows for eligibility, nominations, and the main event.
Key Dates and Eligibility
Artists and labels looking to secure a spot in the 2027 lineup must adhere to the following schedule:
- Eligibility Period: Recordings must be released between August 31, 2025, and August 28, 2026.
- Nominations Reveal: The full list of nominees will be announced on November 16, 2026.
The Main Event: A New Era in Broadcasting
The 2027 Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled for February 7, 2027, live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
This edition marks a historic shift in how the show is consumed. After a 54-year partnership with CBS, the ceremony will move to a new home. The event is set to air on ABC and will be available for simultaneous streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
