The US military says they have carried out several self-defense strikes in southern Iran.
According to the US military, the strikes were aimed at protecting US troops from threats posed by Iranian forces, including missile launch sites and Iranian boats attempting to emplace mines
CENTCOM Spokesman Capt. Tim Hawkins told the media about the strikes.
CENTCOM continues to defend our forces while using restraint during the ongoing ceasefire, Hawkins says.
Iranian media reports say the US Air strikes killed several IRGC navy officers.
