The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has published names and photos of 124 Nigerians to be deported over what it described as “worst of the worst” crimes including fraud, kidnapping, identity theft and child sexual abuse.
In a statement published on its official website on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the DHS says the Nigerians have been placed on what the agency characterizes as its “worst-of-the-worst” criminal register.
While the identities and photographs have been made public to highlight ongoing enforcement efforts, the specific timeline for their removal remains undisclosed.
United States immigration authorities explained that the move forms part of a broader, accelerated enforcement initiative.
They emphasized that the listed individuals were convicted of serious crimes, though the agency declined to provide a granular breakdown of individual offenses or specific deportation dates.
