Ghana Council of State Member Maxwell Boakye Donates Relief Items to Flood Victims on Samreboi

The Member of the Council of State for the Western Region,  Maxwell Boakye, has donated relief items to flood victims in Samreboi following the devastating floods that have destroyed homes, disrupted businesses, and affected the livelihoods of many residents within the community.

As part of his commitment to supporting affected families, Boakye presented essential relief items to help alleviate their hardships and provide immediate assistance. The items donated included student mattresses, boxes of mackerel, cartons of cooking oil, Bel-Aqua Malt, boxes of Kivo Gari, packs of sachet water, bundles of mosquito nets, and bags of rice.

A team acting on his behalf delivered the relief items to the people of Samreboi who have been impacted by these unprecedented floods. He noted that while no amount of support or donations can replace the lives lost or restore damaged property, he prayed for God’s comforting hand to grant affected families renewed hope, strength, and resilience during this difficult period.

Boakye acknowledged the efforts of the Regional Minister, Members of Parliament, Municipal Chief Executives and their respective teams, NADMO, the Education Directorate, security agencies, and all community volunteers for their tireless service and dedication throughout the crisis.

He described the donation as a symbol of compassion, unity, and his unwavering commitment to helping the community rebuild and recover from the effects of the floods.

Boakye also expressed profound sympathy to all families affected by the disaster and assured residents that they are not alone during this challenging time. He emphasized that the recovery and well-being of affected persons remain a shared responsibility and called for collective efforts to support those in need.

The Council of State Member further commended the resilience, courage, and unity demonstrated by the people of Samreboi despite the challenges they continue to face. He appealed to government institutions, businesses, faith-based organizations, and benevolent individuals to support ongoing relief efforts to ensure that no affected family is left behind.

Boakye encouraged residents to remain hopeful and steadfast, expressing confidence that better days lie ahead. He also prayed for God’s protection, comfort, and guidance for all affected persons throughout the recovery and rebuilding process.
