A drone struck skyscrapers in Dubai’s Creek Harbour district early on Thursday, following drone and missile attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran targeting countries in the region, according to authorities in Dubai.
Authorities say the impact of the drone attack caused a minor fire that was quickly brought under control, with no casualties reported.
Dubai officials confirmed that a drone fell onto a building in the Creek Harbour area at approximately 02:00 local time.
Civil defence teams were deployed to contain the limited fire, residents were evacuated as a precautionary measure, and no casualties have been recorded.
