Jadon Sancho Nears Fenerbahce Move After Chelsea Talks Collapse

Jadon Sancho is reportedly set to move to the Turkish league to join Fenerbahce on a long-term deal ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Fenerbahce were initially interested in signing Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich, but they lost out on the player to the Turkish Champions. This move for Jadon Sancho is a big move for the England international, who spent last season with Chelsea Football Club.

There is no concrete confirmation that Sancho might not agree to Fenerbahce or hold out for a move to one of Europe’s big-five leagues. The 25-year-old preferred to remain at Chelsea, but the parties failed to agree on terms, leading to the Blues cancelling their obligation to buy the player for £25m but opting to pay Manchester United a £5m penalty fee.

Manchester United have placed £25 million as the price tag for Sancho, while Fenerbahce are willing to pay not more than £15m.

Sancho fell off the pecking order at Manchester United when Erik ten Hag was the head coach at Old Trafford. This situation triggered his decision to join Chelsea on a loan deal during the 2025 summer transfer window.
