Saudi Pro League club, Al Hilal, has reached an agreement with AC Milan to sign France international, Theo Hernandez.

According to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan has accepted a €30 million initial fee plus €5 million add-ons from Al Hilal for Hernandez.

He says “Theo will decide soon whether he wants to accept the proposal or remain in Europe for the upcoming years.”

Al Hilal are seeking to beef up their squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup which will begin this month in the United States of America. They are the only Saudi Pro League representatives in the Club World Cup.

Milan will not play any form of European football in the coming season. They failed to qualify for Conference League, Europa League and Champions.

They performed very poorly in the Serie A in the just-ended 2024/2025 season.

Hernandez will have to make a major decision whether to stay and continue playing for Milan or join Al Hilal to play in the Club World Cup.

Hernandez is a World Cup winner. He won the 2018 World Cup in Russia with the French national team. France defeated Croatia in that final to clinch their second World Cup title, after initially winning their first World Cup title in 1998.
