Missing Ghanaian Professor Found Buried In His Home, Police Arrest One Person

The body of a missing Ghanaian professor and lecturer has been found by police who have arrested one individual in connection with his death.

Personnel of the Ghana Police Service rretrieved the remains of Professor Amedeke, a lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), located in the Central Region of Ghana.

Ghanaian law enforcement officers said the lecturer had been reported missing by his family, prompting an official police investigation.

Police said after initial inquiries, they discovered that the professor had been secretly buried in his own residence at Gyahadze, a suburb of Winneba in the Central Region.

His body has since been exhumed and transferred to a medical facility for preservation and autopsy, as investigators work to determine the exact cause of death, according to the police.

Meanwhile, police disclosed that one person has been arrested in connection with the case and is currently assisting police with investigations.
