Dr. Ransford Anertey Abbey
President John Dramani Mahama appointed Dr. Ransford Anertey Abbey as the new Chief Executive of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD).
Dr. Abbey, a seasoned leader and corporate strategist, brings a wealth of experience to the role, including his tenure as Managing Director of Ignite Media Group. He has a proven track record in corporate governance, management consultancy, and strategic communications.
The appointment is seen as a significant boost to Ghana’s cocoa sector, which is a major driver of the country’s economy. Dr. Abbey is expected to lead the sector into a new era of growth, sustainability, and innovation.
