In celebration of Staff Appreciation Week and World Teachers’ Day, Rising Sun Montessori School at Dome, a suburb of Accra, Ghana, partnered with Varon Medical & Fertility Centre/Varon Home Healthcare to conduct a free health screening exercise for its staff on October 2, 2024.
The screening included:
– Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment
– Dietitian consultation
– General physician consultation
– Gynaecologist consultation
– Random Blood Sugar (RBS) test
– Kidney Function Test (KFT)
– Lipid Profile test
“We’re committed to supporting our staff’s health and well-being,” said Jonathan Atandzi, Head of Rising Sun Montessori School (Dome). “This health screening demonstrates our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.”
Varon Medical & Fertility Centre’s experienced healthcare professionals provided personalized consultations and health advice.

Staff members expressed gratitude for the opportunity, with teacher Ebenezer Armah saying, “This is a wonderful initiative. I’ve learned so much about my health today.”
