Her family conformed her death in a statement on Instagram.
In the statement, the family remembered Monique Pearls, real name Monica Oma Owunaka, as a person with a beautiful spirit.
The family in their tribute said her “love and kindness touched so many lives.”
The family did not state the cause of her death but said she brought happiness to those around her and will be deeply missed.
